Key Lessons/Skills Gained
- The ability to comfortably hire, fire and run a diverse team.
- I gained a love for design, fabrication, and manufacturing during the development of this company that led to a masters in industrial design.
- These 18 months helped me clearly identified my personal strengths of design, process innovation, and procurement while forcing me recognizing my need to bring on individuals with strong capabilities for branding, marketing, and sales.
- The lessons outweighed our accomplishment as we dissolved the company in 2014. The amount I learned leading this company will remain with me forever.
